When visiting this website or further contact with us it is possible that personal data from you may be processed. For example if you buy a product or create an account.
We, Junkie Company BV, are responsible for the careful handling of your personal data. In doing so, we naturally adhere to the requirements of privacy legislation.
One of the requirements is that we must properly inform you about how we handle your data. We do this through this privacy and cookie statement. In this privacy and cookie statement we explain, among other things:
- which personal data we process about you and why we need this data;
- on which "legal basis" we process this data;
- how long we process the data; - whether your details are passed on to other parties;
- what rights you all have. If you have any questions, you can always contact us. The contact details are included on the contact page of our website.
When and why is personal data processed? • If you buy a product
When you buy a product from us, you will be sharing certain personal data with us. Some information must always be filled in, such as name, e-mail address, home address and other contact information. If you are logged into your account (see below), the account details are filled in automatically. Other data can be entered voluntarily, such as in the open comments field.
We use the data you provide when purchasing products to deliver the product to you, to keep you informed of the order status via e-mail and to be able to further execute the agreement, for example, in the event that you have questions about a product or wish to invoke the (statutory) guarantee.
At the time of purchase, your hashed data from our website is transmitted to Google. This is done with a function developed by Google that safeguards your privacy. For this purpose they use a secure algorithm for one-way hashing (the so-called SHA256). We have given Google Ads permission to use this method of measuring conversions. This gives us more insight into the results of our marketing efforts while respecting your privacy.
We also use our customers' purchase history and purchasing behaviour for analysis purposes so that we can make more attractive offers. We have a legitimate interest in this.
We keep the data provided up to three (3) years after purchase, so that we can always serve you well if you have questions about a previously purchased product. Sometimes we keep this data longer, for example if you have a customer account and this has not been deleted (see below). Some data, such as invoices, we must always keep for longer on the basis of a legal obligation (for the tax authorities).
The basis of the above data processing is: the performance of the contract / a legal obligation / our legitimate interest. • If you create an account
If you register as a new customer for an account, you will share certain personal data with us at that time. This concerns user data such as username and self-chosen password and general data. Some general information must always be entered, such as name, address and contact information. The data entered by you is stored within your own account and you can always update it. You can also supplement your account with other details, such as VAT number and company name so that we can state this on the invoices. Furthermore, various information is shown and kept up to date within your account , such as order status, invoices and an overview of past orders. We will keep this information for as long as the account exists. In the event that the account has not been used for more than three (3) years, we will delete the account and the associated data. However, we will still have to store certain data, such as invoices, on the basis of a legal obligation (for the tax authorities) for longer. The basis of the above data processing are: the implementation of the agreement and / or legal obligation.

The basis for the above data processing is: your prior consent.
• Customer service and feedback
For questions you can contact our customer service via the means of communication mentioned on our contact page. You can also give us tips on how we can improve our services and website. To help you properly, we may ask you for additional information, such as your name and address and contact details. We only do this to the extent that we need this information to process your question or process your feedback. The basis of the above data processing is: the implementation of the agreement.
A cookie table is included at the bottom of this statement. It contains a summary of which cookies and similar technologies are used via our website and for which purposes this is done.
How long will the personal data be processed? We will never process the personal data that we hold about you for longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected in the first instance. For example, we will delete your account and the data it contains when the service is terminated. Another example is that we will delete your name and e-mail address as soon as you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Sometimes we are required by law (tax retention obligation) to keep data longer, such as invoices that we have sent to you.
